Details of visit:
Right after completing a semester of research in Erlangen, I had the great opportunity to do an additional six months of research at Yale University, as a part of the TRENAL student exchange program.
Due to my previous experiences in the German lab, I could start my new projects immediately. I am very glad to work in Professor Aronson’s lab with extremely kind and experienced scientists that help me to develop my scientific skills.
Yale University offers so many interdisciplinary talks, has such an open and international spirit and presents more academic and recreational activities than anyone could ask for. I am really looking forward to broadening my mind and doing research at one of the greatest and most distinguished universities in the world.
I am most grateful for the TRENAL funding, to the DAAD and my supervisor Dr. Felix Knauf for providing me with this exceptional chance.
