Details of visit:
Participating in the TRENAL program has been an incredible journey so far, personally and from an academic point of view.
Having enjoyed an intensive training in all sorts of methods in the lab of PD Dr. Felix Knauf in Erlangen, Germany, being ,and doing research at Yale, enables me to further refine my skills and learn new ones.
I am currently spending my time it Peter Aronsons lab in the Nephrology department, which is also investigating the A6 transport protein. Being in the academically vibrant environment and working with such experienced scientists has already allowed me to expand my knowledge. Together with the cultural possibilities and activities Yale University offers, I cannot help but feel excited about the months to come.
I am very grateful for the opportunity given by TRENAL and DAAD.
