Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting unpredictable situation for this fall, the upcoming TRENAL-EUKISS “Renal Pathophysiology Summer School” has been postponed by one year to September 1-4, 2021. Please save the date in the meantime.
The Berlin Summer School will cover renal pathophysiology problems encountered in clinical practice. The course is geared towards medical residents, renal fellows and physician scientists. This international summer school brings together experts in kidney research and diseases to discuss in a stimulating and interactive setting with participants the basis of kidney functions and their relevance for kidney disease. One of the highlights will be the opening keynote lecture by the nobel prize winner Prof Peter Agre on “Translation of basic science to improve global health”.
We are grateful for the all the speakers and chairs who had agreed to participate. Therefore, we have decided to maintain the program as originally planned. Please find attached the preliminary program as now planned for September 2021. Online registration will open in spring 2021.
